Hey, I’m Laura

I’m a multi-passionate artist who does healing work. I am most known for smiling a lot. But what people don’t know is…

I smile a lot not because I’m happy all the time but because I know how hard, painful and sometimes dark it can be to be alive. I understand the value of a smile and a connection between people.

The little things matter a lot.

The little things add up.

Whether it’s little things that bring more joy and love into the world.

Or it’s little stresses that we carry. It all adds up.

My art and healing work is about working through the little stresses, tension and judgments that have added up into overwhelming thoughts and feelings that hold us back from fully and openly giving and receiving  in this world with a grateful heart, intuitive gut and a conscious mind.

A thought seems small and insignificant but the same thought repeated every day becomes the way we feel and move through life.

One choice, one moment, one breath, one thought at a time, significant change and deep healing is possible.

I guide breathwork

To help people who are overwhelmed by their thoughts and feelings, especially in their relationship to themselves.

Breathwork creates a deep sense of awareness and connection to self allowing for clarity, deep healing and the power to intutively and more confidently make self-serving and self-supporting decisions.

The breath is a pause, it allows you to feel, refocus and make a new decision.

The breath is connected to all parts of ourselves and can be used for healing and clarity emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.

I record guided meditations and talks

about showing up in the world as you are in the world as it is.

Meditations for healing your relationship to yourself and feeling better in your body and mind.

Meditative talks that are kind of like meditations with reflections about living woven in.

Meditations recorded while being immersed in the world surrounded by the soundscapes of life and living.

I write poetry

to reflect on what I feel and think about being in this world and to inspire reflection in others.

I make paintings

about my self in the world, my endlessly wandering mind and the energy of things.

I perform sauna rituals

where I move aromas from essential oils around with a towel dance.

I sew my own clothes

because I love the art but hate the fashion industry and set a goal to not buy new, only thrift and sew.
